Meal replacement products, fall into two categories, in my
opinion. Those that are supplementary products to boost
calorie intake for competitive athletes, and those which
seem to infer that if you eat them, then you will lose
weight. The performance bars will not necessarily help you
loose weight, but if you are a performance athlete, they may
give you a boost of quick calorie intake to enable you to
keep going, when there is not a realistic chance or desire
to have a full meal.
Meal replacement bars which claim to help you lose weight,
will definitely not do so if you retain your old existing
bad eating habits. They have been around forever, and remain
very popular though. My advice... save your money!
