Remember not to replace one bad habit with
another. So when you are quitting smoking, don't replace the cigarettes with
snack food. this can be a powerful urge, especially to have something in your
hands or mouth. Try nicotine gum, throat lozenges, small low calorie mints.
Try also, regularly brushing and flossing your
teeth, if you are not already doing this. A good dental mouthwash to cleanse
your mouth and palette will wake up your taste buds, and help you realize how
badly the cigarettes really tasted!!
