My one saving grace was that I am/was a
swimmer all my life. This exercise lends itself well to those of us who are
overweight. Pounding along on middle aged knees with 60 extra pounds was not an
option. I was never a runner in the first place. Pavement pounder is a better
description. My feet thumped on the ground so hard that, I could swear that I
was going to crack the concrete beneath me as I attempted to jog around the
block.
I'll speak on the benefits of swimming and other exercises
as this site develops.
